Mediation Cost

How Much Does Mediation Cost?

Mediation isn’t an exact science. How long it will take, which determines the total mediation cost, varies on numerous factors.  For divorce mediation the two biggest factors are:

  • How complicated is the divorce?
  • How agreeable are the parties?

Divorce mediations can take as little as 2 hours for a highly motivated and agreeable couple with a very simple divorce to well over 20 hours for a contentious, complicated divorce.  Unfortunately, there is no way to give an average or ballpark figure, as every case is dramatically different.  However, you can make the process significantly faster (and less expensive) by planning ahead and being prepared.

Our pricing is straightforward – with no administrative or other hidden charges.

Fee Transparency

If you have spent any time shopping for mediators, you have probably noticed that many mediators do not list their fees on their websites. If they do list their fees, they have “administrative charges” of $100 – $200 which are not explained. What they don’t tell you is that these charges are generally for simple things such as copies they make or even the coffee and water they serve you during mediation.  That isn’t the case with Gwinnett Mediation.
